A Tribute to a World-Class Teacher, Mentor, and Friend

Tomorrow marks the final day of Pre-K 3 for Enzo. He gets done school a week earlier than Tony, who will be finishing kindergarten next week.

Enzo has grown by leaps and bounds since his first day of school at St. Charles this past September and it can be attributed to the love, attention, instruction, and care he received from his teacher, Mrs. Karin Finelli.

For those of you who will read this post from start to finish, you knew Gia. You knew all about her spirit, her energy, her love for family, her love for life and her love for friends. But Gia really didn’t have friends. You see, Gia always thought of her friends as family and she thought of all my friends and my brother’s friends as her own grandchildren. It’s just who she was.
