The 30th Annual Doo Dah Parade and Enzo Can Crawl!

Doo Dah Parade

The 30th Annual Doo Dah Parade was held this past weekend in Ocean City and Tony and Enzo got to enjoy every minute of it.

The Doo Dah Parade includes floats, classic cars, bands, Santa Claus, grand marshal Mama Dietz (owner of Dietz and Watson) and hundreds of basset hounds.

We went to the parade last year, obviously with just Tony, so this year was fun since Enzo was with us. He sat up in his stroller and watched as the floats and the dogs strolled down the boards.

I have always embraced my Italian heritage.

As anyone who knows me, or has even just talked to me for five minutes, knows that I live and breathe being Italian.

I know a lot of people who are not proud of their heritage, no matter what it is, but I am proud to say I am an Italian-American. As we watch Tony grow to almost three-years-old, I hope he says the same when he is old enough to understand what it means to be a proud Italian-American.

So far, I think he is embracing it!

“Welcome to Ocean City Enzo”

In our first visit to Ocean City this week, Tony decided to be the welcoming party for little brother Enzo as we arrived on the island.

This car ride was definitely different. It was the first lengthy ride that Tony did not sleep during for its entirety, or at least most of it. He was wide awake from the minute we pulled out of the driveway to the minute we pulled up in front of the house in O.C.
