Merry Christmas Tony and Enzo!

Merry Christmas Tony and Enzo!

Tony and Enzo Christmas

Well, it is the end of January, and I am finally getting around to writing about Christmas.

I apologize for the delay in posts, but things have been crazy of late.

The boys are doing well. Tony is running around and chatting like a maniac and Enzo is growing in leaps and bounds. He turned six months old yesterday.

Christmas was an adventure this year with two children in the house now.

A couple of weeks before Christmas, Grandmom and Poppi asked if they could take the boys to Storybook Land.

We arrived to a parking lot full of cars not long after the park opened. The place was decorated for the season, but none of the lights were lit just yet.

Upon entering the park, we heard a recording that said Santa Claus would make an appearance at his house in the park at 5pm to wave his magical wand and turn all the lights on for the guests.

We know we are more than a month late with this post, but better late than never.

We got to enjoy our first Thanksgiving with Enzo and it was definitely a memorable one. Even though Enzo was cooed over by the family, Tony was still the life of the party.

As usual, Tony refused to eat dinner when we all sat down as a family, but he eventually came to the table to eat a variety of different things, not an entire plate.

Enzo was our own little turkey for the day, getting to try some mashed potatoes at dinner.

Enzo was christened on November 16 at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Cinnaminson.

Uncle CJ was asked to be his godfather, while Nicole’s cousin Katie was asked to be his godmother. Both gladly accepted with enthusiasm.

Katie was unable to attend the ceremony because she moved to Switzerland for a job. She did however watch the ceremony via Skype thanks to her dad, Uncle Mike.

We asked Aunt Carol, Katie’s mom, to stand-in for Katie during the ceremony. She gladly accepted and enjoyed every minute of the day.

Happy New Year and a Quick Update

Good evening folks. It has been more than one month since our last post and things have been pretty up and down.

The last post prior to tonight went live on the site on the morning of November 15. That is a day that myself and Nicole will never forget.

We lost a close friend and it touched home immensely.
