Sunday was Easter, as almost everyone in the world knows, but it still helps to write that down as part of the story.

Tony and Enzo wore matching outfits and the boys behaved while in church.

It was a day filled with jelly beans, chocolate and a lot of food.

We had brunch at great Mom-Mom’s house after church, where Tony and Enzo each received Easter baskets filled with candy.

Upon returning home, Tony and Enzo received Easter baskets from mommy and daddy. All Tony wanted to do was eat jelly beans. We had to closely monitor his candy intake because he would sneak pieces when no one was looking.

When the rest of the family came over, the boys were given more Easter baskets to open. Some had clothes, some had toys, and all of them had more candy.

After dinner, Tony took part in an Easter egg hunt in the backyard. Some of the eggs were hidden in plain sight, which did not take much for him to find.

Others were hidden in almost unreachable places for Tony by Uncle Chris, who had to climb into the swing set to get the eggs down for him.

All in all, it was a good day for the boys and the entire family.

We spent Monday in Ocean City since the forecast was stellar for only one day this week. It looks like we made a good choice since it has rained each day since then.

We walked  the boards, but all Tony wanted to do was play on the beach. We were able to convince him to get a new hat for the beach, which he originally did not want. Now, he will not take the hat off, wearing it around the house, but not to bed yet.
