Tony and Enzo Hit the Pumpkin Patch Twice in as Many Days

Pumpkin Patch 2014

Good morning everyone. It has been a long time since we have updated the site. Life gets in the way sometimes, especially when you have two children in the house and have to write for clients on a daily basis. Hopefully we can begin updating the site on a daily basis like earlier this summer.

We are going to backtrack a little bit here and move to the middle of the month of October, when Tony and Enzo got the chance to visit Conte Farms in Tabernacle for a hayride and some pumpkin picking.

The family got together on a Saturday in the middle of the month to hit the pumpkin patch, which was the first visit for Enzo.

All Tony wanted to do was run around the field and have others chase him down. He really had no interest in picking the pumpkins, which is fine. At least he wore himself out a little bit before we went to Grandmom and Poppi’s house.

It was a beautiful day for the hayride. The sun was shining, there was little wind and the temperature was very comfortable.

Uncle CJ could not make the first trip to the pumpkin patch, so we scheduled a second visit for the following day at the same farm.

Day two was very different weather-wise. It was still sunny, but the temperature dropped and the wind was whipping.

Tony again failed to pick a pumpkin. He ran through the field wanting to be chased for the second day in a row. Mommy and Daddy picked the pumpkins for Tony and Enzo, since Tony wanted no parts of doing so.

When we returned to the store at the farm, Tony got into a cart as we pulled the pumpkins and a host of mums to the cash register. He loved the ride in the cart almost as much as the ride on the tractor.

We hit the Pic-A-Lilli Inn in Shamong after the hayride to enjoy some crab soup, wings and sandwiches to finish the day of fun.

Stay tuned for another post coming later today on Halloween.
