Tony and Enzo Go Trick-or-Treating in Grandmom and Poppi’s Development

Yesterday was Halloween and Tony had a blast, after an unexpected meltdown.

We went to Grandmom and Poppi’s house in Marlton so Tony could trick-or-treat. Tony was going to dress as a fireman and Enzo was going to dress as his dalmatian.

Let’s back-up a couple of hours to Thursday night, mischief night. We had dinner and went to Nonna’s house so Tony could throw some toilet paper in the bushes and spray silly string on the front porch.

Then, we headed to Palmyra to watch their annual Halloween parade. Tony enjoyed the floats, the dogs in costumes and especially seeing the ambulances and fire trucks.

Upon returning home, we told Tony he needed to get a good night’s sleep in order to be well rested for trick-or-treating on Friday night. He did, but he woke up at 6 am. We could hear him over the monitor asking if it was Halloween yet outside.

Grandmom came over during the day to spend time with the boys and all Tony could talk about was being a fireman later that night.

The minute we arrived at Grandmom and Poppi’s house, we told Tony it was time to go out and get some candy. He had a major meltdown when we went to put his costume on him.

The only thing that calmed him down was when Uncle CJ said he would wear his fire gear with Tony and the two would walk around the neighborhood together.

Tony finally calmed down, got dressed and went trick-or-treating with the entire family with him.

Once the night was over we visited Aunt MeMe and Uncle Paul so they could see the boys in their costumes.

Tony had a blast and obviously Enzo really couldn’t have cared what happened on Halloween.
